Cogstone Resource Management Inc. is a small woman-owned business specializing in cultural resources consulting. Cultural Resources, under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA, section 106) and the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), are defined to include paleontological, archaeological and historical resources. Cogstone has experience in every facet of the environmental process and we are dedicated to providing our clients with cost-effective professional services. Cogstone offers experienced, cross-trained crew to perform record searches, surveys, assessments, evaluations, testing, monitoring and data recovery. Cogstone’s principal investigators have more than 30 years of experience and are well-qualified to address a wide variety of situations with practical solutions. Cogstone has staff with special expertise in human bone, faunal analysis, fossil identification, flaked lithics, ground stone, historical artifact analysis and other areas.
