The unfortunate passing our of friend and colleague Steve McCormick has come as a shock to us all. His good nature and constant laughter will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him.
In memory of Steve, Cogstone has set-up an agreement with The Bolsa Chica Land Trust whereby donors can help save The Bolsa Chica Cogstone Archaeological Site in Huntington Beach, CA.
The archaeological site is a six-acre parcel on the Bolsa Chica Mesa that remains privately owned and due to development a portion has already been destroyed and artifacts have been lost.
Steve worked on this site in 2006 and understood its challenges. We felt it was an appropriate choice for contributions made in his memory due to his love for archaeology and familiarity with the site and its location in Orange County where he grew up.
All donation amounts are accepted and tax-deductible.
Please follow these instructions exactly to make sure that your contributions are appropriated to the right fund and in Steve's memory:
Please do not use Bolsa Chica website's online check-out. It is not currently set-up to accept donations for the DE Goodell Acquisition and will not be able to account for your donation in memory of Steve.
For more information about the DE Goodell Site, please visit this link: Bolsa Chica Cogged Stone Site.
If you have any questions concerning your donation, please feel free to contact Flossie Horgan, Executive Director.
